Apathy is a form of resistance. Apathy can lead to depression. Apathy is a belief. Beliefs can change. Apathy, like so many other self-destructive beliefs, often is a tool used to cover up fear. When we are afraid we can either face the challenge and fulfill our potential, or run away. Apathy allows us to be cowards, thus eliminating the fear of actually facing our results. Apathy can be overcome with action.
