No matter how many times you learn something, it pays to do it again to remember better.

Seek First To Understand
Being right doesn’t mean the other person is wrong.
Being wrong doesn’t mean the other person is right.
All it means is that there is still more to understand.
Spend More Time
Time together connects people.
Time together dissolves anger.
Time together allows healing.
Consistency Beats Problems
No matter how tough a stone, eventually, running water will always smooth over the rough edges.
Accepting New Insights
The major enemies of contentment, growth, peace and strong relationships are pride, greed, jealousy, and selfishness – all of which are almost impossible to see in yourself. Most mirrors aren’t strong enough. The enemies come from within but often need to be brought to our attention by those on the outside, by others.
Laziness Is Lying
Laziness is the embodiment of being dishonest.
Anyone who argues otherwise is disingenuous.
Weakness Is Not Illness
Weakness doesn’t equal illness.
Lack of resilience is weakness of fortitude.
Lack of integrity is weakness of character.
Lack of effort is weakness of personality.
Lack of compassion is weakness of heart.
We all have weaknesses.
All weaknesses can be strengthened with focus and deliberate action.
All weaknesses can be strengthened without special accommodations, medicine, or pandering.
Don’t Say It
Don’t say sorry.
Be sorry.
Don’t tell me what you are doing.
Do it.
Don’t explain.
Fix it.
Stop & Adjust
If what we are doing doesn’t work, stop.
If what we are pursuing doesn’t bring peace, adjust.
As we stop and adjust we are now free to find better ways to get what we need and want.
Pushing Everyone Together
Getting in the way of others is often accidental. Our own wants usually come first and is shown in our behavior. Yet, with focused awareness we can begin to highlight and support the desires of others in order to push everyone forward.
