It is always good to go in the right direction, even if that direction is different than planned.

Stepping Back To Go Forward
Working through a problem doesn’t mean always pushing harder. It also can mean taking a step back.
When something is bothering you, find out why.
Do the work to understand yourself. Often, reflection and awareness is more work than just continuing down the path.
Find Multiple Perspectives
If you only look at life (opportunities, challenges, relationships, etc.) through one perspective, that perspective will never be complete, and then long-term, you will always be wrong.
Purpose Helps Relieve Pain
The best way to overcome short-term failures is to have a focused ultimate purpose built up with long-term goals to help you accomplish that purpose.
Accept To Change
You cannot change what is not real. You cannot change what you do not accept.
Accept yourself for who you are, so you can create yourself into who you know you should be.
Wall of Lies
Personal walls, relationship defenses we hide behind are like lies. We think we build them to keep ourselves protected, yet in reality, we are just hiding who we really are.
How We Do What We Do Matters
As we live our lives…
Our planning is important.
Our preparation is important.
Our execution is important.
Our review and adjustment is important.
Each step takes awareness and careful consideration.
If we do them with focus toward our purpose, our efforts will be rewarded.
Intrinsic Value
If our personal value is intrinsic, our group/community value is also.
Do not underestimate your personal worth, you are needed by your people.
Everyone you meet is your people.
Everyone you interact with is your community.
Going To Battle
We go out to fight for who we think we are only to come home to find out who we actually are.
Learning From Others
We can learn something from every single person we meet. Not because they are smarter, or even because they know something we don’t… but because of perspective, experience, and personality. Since each of us is different, if we are truly curious, we can learn to see things through the eyes of another, and that is how we expand our thinking, that is how we learn.
