Teach Better

To teach well you need to have the right systems, processes and techniques coupled with the right mentality and way of thinking. Teaching is about awareness, growth, and active participation. If you can inspire positive feelings combined with hands-on understanding, then you can teach.

Composure Over All – Composure Wins

Composure is underrated. True composure is stoicism in action. Composure doesn’t mean we don’t experience strong emotions and feelings, it means we don’t let those emotions and feelings control our behavior. Composure is the ability to pay attention to how we feel and then still take the action that is most beneficial.

Telling a Changing Story

The more you tell your story, the more you believe it.

The more you tell your story, the more others believe it.

With belief, anything is possible.

We always have the ability to tell the story we want to be true in order to then make it come true.

Our story is not just the past, but the future as well and how we interpret the past.

Interpretations can change, and should be based on our maturity, ambition, goals and new knowledge.

Understanding How They Behave

Grief never calls ahead. Yet, Grief cannot be ignored or told to leave.

Anger is controlling and isn’t concerned with peace, love, or kindness. Yet, Anger is weak when confronted with awareness.

Anxiety lives in a nightmare of their own creation and wants to bring you there too. Yet, Anxiety wakes up when presented with encouragement and purpose.

Depression always shuts the window blinds no matter how beautiful it is outside. Yet, Depression isn’t doing it on purpose and true connection with others almost always can open the blinds again.

Self-pity selfishly ignores almost everyone. Yet, Self-pity cannot ignore Gratitude when Gratitude decides to stay.

The Right Timing

Your timeline is important.

Your partner’s timeline is more important.

To get anything done, focus on the timeline of the person you are helping (leading, influencing, etc.)
