When Controlled, Gaslighted or Accused…
Sometimes people treat you bad, talk behind your back, accuse you of wrongs that aren’t real — all because they are ashamed of their own failures, play the victim, are weak, and can’t stand to see others succeed (usually this is done subconsciously, but still true).
They do this to control your actions and behavior. They don’t want what is best for you (even though that is what they claim) – they want was is comfortable for them and their own insecurities.
The best medicine for this is to live with courage.
Courage is when you take the proper action no matter the fear you feel.
Humility Proves Where Your Heart Is
Listen To Them More
Only idiots refuse to listen to the advice, wisdom, and experiences of people that are wiser than them.
Only foolish egotistical and self-absorbed people deny the counsel of those who are farther down the path.
Defeating Pain By Rounding Corners
When the edges of life get rounded, it means that value of experience is available.
When the corners of life get smoother, it means that the pain of defeat is defeated.
Accepted!
Acceptance is approval.
We always choose who we approve by what we accept.
What Works & What Doesn’t
Complaining doesn’t work.
Criticizing rarely works.
Condemning always stops the work.
Honesty consistently works.
Forgiving invariably will work.
Gratitude forever works.
Blame Decides Control
Control is given, not taken.
Wherever we give blame, that is where the control also lies.
If we give the blame to ourselves, we have control.
If we give the blame to others, they have control.
Location. Location. Location.
Thoughts determine decisions.
Decisions are choices.
Choices direct actions.
Actions show your position.

Keep It Going
If the current habits, methods, systems, and processes are not working we have two options:
- Keep going by working smarter and harder.
- Do something else, try something totally new.
Knowing when to do each option is key. It is about understanding your own skills and strengths and how they align with your goals. It is also about listening to those who have done exactly what you are trying to do.
Always push toward your goals, just pay attention of when you need to work smarter and harder or when you need readjust everything.
