Understand The Roots

Modern definitions of bravery and courage confuse the two and disrespect the historical meanings.

Brave is being bold (bravo). Courage stems from the heart.

All courage is brave.

Not all bravery is courageous.

Bravery is acting when afraid, facing danger or pain.

Courage is doing the right thing (taking proper action) in the face of fear, grief, or pain.

Your heart knows what is right.

Every Good Thing

Extremes kill.

We need fitness, not over exertion to the point if injury or death.

We need water, not too much that we drown.

We need food, not too much that we get and stay fat.

We need confidence, but not to the point of arrogance.

We need love, but not to the degree that we forget to make rational decisions.

Every good thing, is good in moderation.

Free Yourself

You can’t let go until you admit you are the one that is holding it.

In order to let go of pain or sadness or grief or anxiety (or any other “it”), you need to admit it is you that is holding it in place, and forcing it to stay around.

Once you let go, it leaves.
