The most effective remedy for solving a crisis, enduring severe turmoil, or overcoming anguish is to move forward. Move forward in action, move forward in thought, and then life will move forward with you and your healing can begin. 

Effort is more important than luck if you have to choose between the two, because effort is always controllable and is singular, whereas luck requires two more ingredients. 

Luck is created when effort, hope, and consistency are united. 

Hope is focused belief, defined dreams, and deliberate goals combined. 

If we choose to work hard, and choose to have hope, and choose it over and over again, in the end, we are just choosing luck. 

Hope needs to be more than a random feeling. 

Hope needs to become part of our routine. 

If we choose hope daily, we get stronger and our lives get better.

You don’t over prepare, you under adjust.

You don’t over train, you under recover. 

You don’t over think, you under let-go. 

Asking real questions and waiting for the answers shows interest and curiosity. 

Curiosity is a true virtue. 

Curiosity helps you grow while letting others know you care. 

Curiosity shows you are “other-centered”, which is the opposite of selfishness.

Curiosity allows you to extend your knowledge and understanding and therefore makes you a valuable person to be around. 

Curiosity is a sign of humility. 

 

For most success, it is not about the method, process, or plan, but how well you can hold yourself and others accountable to the chosen course of action. 

You can’t eat ideas. Unless you turn those ideas into something… 

Focus on delivering what others want and need, in order for you to achieve. 

Gain attention, interest, and conviction by talking about what they care about.

If you always try to sell yourself, you have little time to be yourself. 

If someone doesn’t understand, then your explanation wasn’t good enough.
