Usually, we are scared when we lack information. 

Usually, we are fearful when we are ignorant. 

That is why light and knowledge erase doubt. 

If you give someone the ability to make you scared,

If you give someone the ability to make you angry, 

If you give someone the ability to make you sad,

If you give someone the ability to make you worried, 

If you give someone the ability to make you doubt,

If you give someone the ability to make you jealous,

you have become their slave.

This is voluntary, and as soon as you take away their ability, you are a slave no more. 

When faith and confidence are built on truth, 

outside approval is welcome but not required.  

We don’t get to explain what we believe,

we don’t get to tell people who we are,

we don’t get to justify ourselves. 

We can only prove our beliefs through our behavior,

we can only show who we are through our actions,

we can only declare ourselves through our activity. 

 

Our feelings are never a fixed result based on what happens, yet that is how it feels. 

Our feelings are emotional choices based on what we think is happening, yet it doesn’t feel that way. 

 

Losing as a team is hard, especially when it is not your fault. 

As long as you are prepared, work hard, perform, and support your team then the loss itself is not important. The effort and the experience are important. 

Our journey forward is really a journey back… 

Back to our soul, 

back to our creator, 

back to our roots, 

back to who we were,

all to become who we should be. 

There is no better nourishment for human connection than trust combined with encouragement and approval. 

Any negative feeling can become a prison – the heart is not free when filled with greed, hate, envy, and pride. 

All of us, are more. 

We are more, more than we are today. 

What we think and what we do determines how much more we become.
