Finding Your Way

The road to fulfillment is intellectual, emotional, spiritual, and physical.

Accept the work required in all four areas and the path becomes clear.

Once you know what you must do,

doing it is still hard,

but is now a realistic possibility that is full in your control.

Creating Life

As we choose to connect with others,

as we choose to respond with virtue,

as we choose to embrace growth,

as we choose to give full effort,

as we choose to love our neighbors,

the life we create becomes a life worth living.

No Pain No Gain

True adversity always has the potential to be a catalyst for next-level growth, as a stepping stone to a better version of ourselves. It is through struggle that we learn to design, build, and forge our character. As we proactively embrace the pain we are certain to encounter, our learning and development accelerate.

Improve Your Entire World

I have been doing focused reading on this field since January 2002, and this is what I found — if you truly study the core of history’s most timeless, trusted and tested religions/philosophy’s (Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, Stoicism, Adlerian Psychology, etc.)and connect the dots between them, they all show that:

Improving Yourself as an Individual Will Improve Your Community

&

Improving Your Community Will Improve You

&

Improving Yourself and Your Community Will Improve Your Life

(Your family is the community you have the biggest ability to impact)

Medicine, But Not Pharma

There are so many types of non-traditional medicine for non-physical disease and injury.

Medicine of the soul, that comes through faith in truth.

Medicine of the heart, that comes through connection with others.

Medicine of the mind, that comes through proper thinking.

Medicine of the spirit, thats come from actively working toward the service of others.

Open The Door

the door is solid and holds fast

until we open to the requesting knock

sometimes it is pain, or grief, or sorrow that pleas for rest

sometimes it is joy, or peace, or contentment that begs to enter

whatever knocks, whoever knocks, embrace, support, and enjoy

then send them on their way, to their appropriate final destination

for the learning of deep experience

the live well lived

only comes when we open our doors
