Too often, our distorted perception becomes our new reality. Even as the current situation and environment around us change, our views do not, our perspectives stay planted in the past. If we are willing to readjust our focus, eventually we can find the best way to see the world as it is today, so we can then create new actions that accurately maximize the talents on those on our teams. 

The ultimate medicine to overcome any fear, is trust. 

Faith is trust in truth. 

Courage is trust in action. 

Belief is trust in your heart. 

Connection is trust in the relationship. 

If you want something to grow, give it/them the space, resources, and tools. You cannot just tell a tree to grow, it has be in the right environment. It is the same with people, telling them what to do doesn’t work. 

If the relationship has purpose, then you can create true meaning. 

Sometimes, the work you do gets forgotten.

Don’t worry, for those that matter, it is always remembered and accounted for. 

People connect with people. 

We connect with stories. 

The stories we tell others, but even more important, the stories we tell ourselves.

We are our stories. 

If you want to give advice, make sure you are actually in a position to do so.

Teaching courage is hard.

Initiative covers a multitude of weaknesses.   

What to be aware of and watch for:

• Laziness

Solving those attitudes is difficult, teaching the right skills to a willing and engaged team-member is worth the effort.

What is more scary? Not fulfilling your potential.
