The greatest people serve others. The biggest hero you will ever find is the one who serves another. Heroes are found in service, nothing more.

Kindness is a language spoken by everyone. Kindness can be physical or emotional.  Learn the language of kindness and you will never be alone.

We all need time to be alone. That alone time does not need to be long or without others. it just needs to be a time when our thoughts are our own and not being interrupted by others. Being alone with our thoughts helps us renew our minds and spirits. There are many ways to find and create that alone time. Whatever it takes, find a way to renew daily.

The true purpose of life is joy. All scriptures teach that. Joy is found in love, awareness and selfless service. Joy is easy to create but sometimes hard to see. The more we slow down, the more joy we can realize.

Getting angry is easy.

Forgiving is hard.

Doing hard things is always worth it.

Everyone is fragile. Everyone has weaknesses. Together we can compensate for each others’ shortcomings. Together we are powerful. Together we are strong.

If you can learn to listen to understand, everyone will tell you everything. Everyone wants to be understood.

Respecting people who are different from us is the highest form of awareness. It is easy to support and appreciate those who are similar, it takes courage to honor and value those who believe, act, look, and think differently.

You don’t learn by accident. You can experience many things without trying, but to truly learn you need to make a choice, it takes effort.
