Wrong-Hearted Questions

While there are no bad questions, there are plenty of bad intentions behind the questions.

If you are curious and want to learn the answer, then the questions and intentions are good.

If you have an agenda, if you have a perceived notion of how you want things to be and how you think they should be, then you do not have questions, really, what you have are your selfish desires hidden behind a facade of questioning words.

Signs You Are Growing

If you are learning, if you are breaking through emotional barriers, personal conflict, and professional growth you will be doing a few things differently:

  1. You Will See Patterns – in others, in yourself (good+bad)
  2. Your Are More Curious – you want more knowledge
  3. You Feel There Is More – yet sometimes, you don’t know how to grasp it
  4. You Separate Thoughts & Feelings – they are not the same and you are aware
  5. You Focus On The Journey – it is not just about results anymore
  6. You Are Less Selfish – you understand the value of your relationships better
  7. You Care More – you care about quality, purpose, and others

Fulfilling Your Unique Purpose

Your individual purpose and unique destiny, will always be tied to two things:

  1. How you overcame your toughest challenges.
  2. What you accomplished when you helped others the most.

Study those times, those experiences and reflect and ponder on what you did and who you were, then do more of the same, that is how you will keep fulfilling your potential.

Appreciation But Not Expectation

When we feel entitled to something we didn’t earn, that is the same moment we start to become victims, victims of others and victims of our circumstance.

Receiving what we don’t earn or work for or deserve is part of life and we should accept the grace, gifts, and generosity with appreciation.

Yet, once that appreciation turns into expectation, that is when we have crossed the line.
