Complaints are negative emotions being voiced.
Facts can be positive or negative, but are logical and look at the situation.
Complaints bring in the emotional side to the facts.
Take out the emotion, and looking at the facts can help us plan our next steps.
Bring back the emotions and we get mentally clouded and stuck in our feelings and then we make bad decisions.
If you show that you care about people, they will want to be around you. Showing is not telling (though it might include that)… showing is proving with intent, actions, and heart. Showing is felt, not heard or seen.
As we connect with others, especially those we want to help, we stop being superior and start to remember how similar we actually are.
Everyone needs and wants to grow. The job of a leader is help others grow.
To grow, you need to know what to do and what not to do.
To grow, you need the space and freedom to explore, learn, and fail.
The job of leader is to be a farmer, a teacher, and a protector.
Speaking truth without compassion is selfishness.
Movement is key.
Moving yourself is easier than moving others.
No matter are firm or steadfast an obstacle, your ability to be flexible, your willingness to move and change will determine how successful you are.
Acting like you know (pretending) the heart and beliefs of another without pure compassion, deep understanding, and legitimate education is selfish arrogance.
