What something means is based on interpretation, not the truth. Meaning is always derived from context. Based on the perceived context, meaning can change and therefore is not based on truth. What something ‘is’ can be defined, yet what it ‘means’ cannot. The worst mistake is to confuse meaning with facts of being. When we try to decipher meaning we often get lost and use our own biases to create false narratives. Instead of worrying about what something means, we will all be happier and more at peace when we just focus on what ‘is’.

More Love = More Happiness
Feeling Full
When you desire less, your life feels like it is full. When you desire too much, you never feel satisfied.
Arrogance From The Bottom
Arrogance is shown in many forms. It is usually not top-down either (very few are at the top) usually it is bottom-up or side-to-side. If you think you are right and those who have done it before are wrong, then that is arrogance.
Perspective & Direction
Pain and sorrow are part of our mortal existence. So are strength and joy. We need to experience it all. What we initially experience is not always up to us, yet, how long we choose to experience each aspect is under our control. Our perspective is how we see things, and the direction we face shows our heart where to go. We notice and see what we look for. We pay attention to what we decide to focus on.
Filled With Peace
Our inner peace is a direct reflection of our ability to let go. Our willingness and courage to let go of negative feelings, emotions, and thoughts determines if and when we let peace fill the space that is too often occupied by negativity.
The Courage of Winning
Winning has various definitions. Whenever the definitions include others, then you don’t have control, and you can become victim to the actions of others. Yet, if winning is about you, about your and your team’s growth, about your values and actions aligning, then you can be in full control, then you can win. Winning is more about the progress from start to finish than the finishing point. Winning is more about the human connection and personal improvement made. Winning is determined by how you and how others feel rather than the actual actions themself. If you overcome an obstacle, that is winning. If you are still going even after it gets hard, that is winning. If you are still serving, even when no one values your contribution, that is winning. If you keeping taking proper action in the face of fear, grief, or pain – that is courage, and courage is the ultimate sign of winning.
