Becoming Anti-Selfish

When you want to do something else specifically, or anything else generally, but still do the action for another, that is the beginning of becoming unselfish. Helping someone do something that only benefits them and not you is how we let go of selfishness. When your own desire gets put aside for the benefit of another, that is anti-selfish.

Hiding From The Enemies

Self-doubt, Confusion, Loneliness, Depression are the real enemies and they work together.

They will search for you. They find will you when…

you only think about yourself…

you aren’t focused on others…

you don’t have a purpose…

your aren’t pursuing your goals…

you are focusing on the past…

you are waiting to be fully grateful until something else happens…

your beliefs, principles, values, and actions are not aligned.

Do It When It Is Uncomfortable

Doing what makes you emotionally or physically uncomfortable can be really good for you if the action and outcome align with your intentions and focus. Doing what makes you FEEL uncomfortable usually means something is not right, something is not aligned.

Emotions are short-term and instant.

Feelings are long-term and chosen.

Do It, Easier

Humans always revert to what is easiest.

If a good decision becomes the easy decision, that is what we will habitually do.

If a wrong choice is the “only available” choice, then it becomes easy to make the wrong choice.

Make what is right the thing that is easy, and then we will always do what is right.
