Joy Brings Happiness

Joy is a feeling. A feeling of happiness/pleasure that comes from accomplishment or success. Happiness does not cause joy. Responsibility, passion, accountability, creation, and doing are what causes joy and that produces happiness. As we are taught and told, the creator wants us to “have joy”.

(Feelings are choices while emotions are not. )

Your Dominant Feeling

Ways to feel worse about yourself:

  1. Focus on “what-if”
  2. Wait for something better
  3. Compare (yourself, your things)

Doing these things eliminates gratitude. They allow negative emotions to evolve into dangerous feelings.

Yet, practicing active gratitude always makes you feel better. Gratitude turns the focus outward and enables peace and contentment to become your dominant feelings.

Practice gratitude – daily:

  1. Write down what you are thankful for
  2. Tell someone why you are thankful for them
  3. Do something now to help move you toward your goals

Sacrifice + Honor

Some people sacrifice everything. They are the ones you can count on.

Some people do whatever it takes. They are the ones you can trust.

Some people care enough to be present. They are the ones you honor.

Happy Birthday, MOM! Love you! Thanks for sacrificing everything, for doing what it takes, and for being present. We have always counted on you and trusted you, and we honor you.

Passion | Apathy

Passion creates motivation to push for the desired outcome. Apathy is worse than disagreement, apathy is worse than argument, apathy is worse than conflict.  Passion overcomes most weaknesses. Apathy magnifies every deficiency. Energy and focus build the skills and tools to find success. Apathy wastes all gifts and talents. Passion enables courage.

Reunions

There are many types of reunions. They all are about bringing together pieces and ideas that were connected at one time and have now become disconnected.  Reunions are healing because they allow us to remember we are connected and that we have a place.

The Right Order of Things

The right order of things is the way of truth. It is following the will of the creator by honoring our intuition and insights and helping those around us. It means doing the right things at the right time without ego or blame. The right order of things is to focus on truth and then follow that truth and then help others follow the truth.
