Appreciation But Not Expectation

When we feel entitled to something we didn’t earn, that is the same moment we start to become victims, victims of others and victims of our circumstance.

Receiving what we don’t earn or work for or deserve is part of life and we should accept the grace, gifts, and generosity with appreciation.

Yet, once that appreciation turns into expectation, that is when we have crossed the line.

Expect Less, Say More

Expectations can be beneficial when used the right way.

When they go unspoken but are still assumed they are harmful and eventually cause resentment.

Once you let go of your prefixed expectations for others, you are finally on the path toward honoring, respecting, and understanding them.

Love Includes Forgiving

To truly love someone, someone must do something wrong.

An essential part of love is forgiveness.

There is no love without forgiveness.

When we do wrong we need to forgive ourselves and let others forgive us.

When others do wrong we must forgive them and help them forgive themselves.
