The True Struggle
The struggle is not for approval from others but for acceptance from self.
Happy Birthday, Mom! Love you.
It Wasn’t Me, It Wasn’t You
When you are accused wrongly, it is them who must be taught.
For they thought you were someone you are not.
It is obviously a case of mistaken identity.
Let it go and move on to create your serenity.
Inside vs Outside World
Praise and adoration from the the outside world in words or in action doesn’t create long-term fulfillment. Yet, encouragement from people from the inside world (family, friends, mentors, community) creates lasting change and drives a sense of purpose.
Changing Identity Could Mean Constant Growth
Opinions don’t equal truth.
Once your opinion becomes your identity, then you have stopped progressing.
Curiosity and the desire to learn should always be stronger than your opinion-based identity.
Effort, Patience, Love
Active effort combined with enduring patience creates the foundation for sustained success. When you start fulfilling your purpose and showing love to others, then you can build the life of your dreams.
Living For Them
True living is doing.
Living for yourself is not a fulfilling life.
Living for others is the best way to feel like you matter and have a purpose.
Sick and Enslaved
Fear is a sickness.
Fear is a form of slavery.
Once fear sets in, it takes a dedicated and focused effort to break free.
Yet, if we prevent it from taking root, fear has no power.
Being Detached Makes Us Better
The journey of happiness requires true detachment, the right kind of detachment. Detachment from things we cannot control. If we can fully detach, then happiness is always in reach.
Past, Present, and Future
Regret is pain in the past.
Longing is good in the past.
Grief is pain in the present.
Joy is good in the present.
Fear is pain in the future.
Lust / Desire is good in the future.
