When separate skills, results, parts, functions, roles, and attributes all come together to create something cohesive and overall better, that is harmony. Great leaders strives for harmony from and within their team. 

When something or someone is pathetic they either encourage pity or they produce extremely inadequate results. 

The most pathetic are those who always find fault in others and blame everything on what has happened in the past. They are the most pathetic because they are both sad to see and will never produce any positive results. 

Be faithful, always. 

Be truthful, always. 

Be helpful, always. 

Be cruel and mean, never. 

Every relationship has problems. It takes two to tango. But it only takes one to start…start repairing, start healing, start fixing. 

Leaders accept responsibility. True accountability, stewardship, and ownership mean you work to fix any problem in every committed relationship. Not because the problems are your fault, but because you feel it is your job to do so. 

We all ignore more things than we pay attention to. 

One of the most effective things to do often is to ask yourself:

“Am I ignoring the right things?”

Professionals earn respect. 

Amateurs fight for it…

Professionals create trust.

Amateurs seek it… 

Professionals inspire hope. 

Amateurs kill it… 

While you can’t control what others do to you, you can control where you put yourself. Where you are at any given time determines who is around you. 

The things we discuss become us. 

The things we say betray us. 

The things we speak prove us. 

Once you are grateful for what you have,

and can let go of what you want,

you are free,

free to be,

who you were meant to be. 

Saying no as a protection to your own safety (physical, spiritual, emotional, mental) is always better than saying yes for the illusion that your yes will benefit others. 

When you are not safe, you cannot help others.
