Self-betrayal happens anytime we don’t do what we know we should do.
Pain & Pleasure
If you help people move away from pain (suffering, struggle, disappointment, regret) and move toward pleasure (happiness, growth, fulfillment, purpose) you will always be wanted.
Analyze, But Do Not Compare
We all search for meaning.
Trauma is hard to define without context.
When seeking context, too often we compare. Yet, comparison is the thief of joy.
Context can be found without comparing your situation to someone else’s.
When searching for context and meaning from and because of our situation as related to other situations—be careful not to compare—but rather analyze instead.
Anxiety Causes Stress
Stress is often caused by anxiety.
Anxiety is usually an intense internal fear that starts from within rather than from external stimuli.
As we pay attention to how we process our emotions, we can understand when we start to feel anxious. If we know when it comes, we can take measures to limit the power and effect of the anxiety.
As we learn to limit our anxiety, we in turn limit our stress.
Community Builds Commitment
Cooperation with others makes keeping commitments easier. We gain strength from each other.
Trust Allows Expression
Trust allows you to express and explain. Without trust they just want you to be quiet.
Your Energy
Your energy is felt. Your energy cannot be masked, or hidden. Everywhere you go, everything you do, your energy goes with you and is evident. Change your energy and change your life.
Achieve vs Strive
Attainment creates positive feelings that are always temporary. The active pursuit of a worthy goal is what makes satisfaction a consistent reality.
What It Is
What something means is based on interpretation, not the truth. Meaning is always derived from context. Based on the perceived context, meaning can change and therefore is not based on truth. What something ‘is’ can be defined, yet what it ‘means’ cannot. The worst mistake is to confuse meaning with facts of being. When we try to decipher meaning we often get lost and use our own biases to create false narratives. Instead of worrying about what something means, we will all be happier and more at peace when we just focus on what ‘is’.
Trust & Faith
If you increase transparency, you create trust.
If you share more, you build faith.
If you care more, you show love.
