When we act with courage, our heart is at peace.

Courage is the act of using our heart, mind, and discipline to overcome pain, grief, and fear.

To “take heart” means to feel encouraged.

 

We all want to know how we are doing, where we are in the journey.

When we accept truth and align our actions with that truth, then we know we are on the right path.

 

Our deepest desire is to belong. That is why rejection hurts so much. The best way to help others is to help them feel like they belong.

Focused, uninterrupted thought produces the most creative and worthwhile ideas.

You don’t have any values.

Values cannot be possessed.

You show your values by how you live, by how you act.

You “DO” values.

Our actions prove what we value.

Words are powerful.

If you don’t believe it, don’t say it.

The problem is, often, we start to believe what we say.

If you want something, ask for it.

If you love someone, tell them.

If you are struggling, help others.

When you are not fully embraced for who you are and the good you do, look elsewhere.

When you are not accepted, find the people who deserve your attention.

When you are not celebrated, show yourself respect, and spend time only around those who are worthy of your loyalty and dedication.

Sometimes, what we want, is not what we need.

Sometimes, what we want, is wanted for the wrong reasons.

Sometimes, what we want, is better never acquired.

When we align our wants with the will of God, everything begins to fall into place.
