When we have fear, or false ideas, or are thinking wrong it doesn’t help to deny those feelings or ideas.
Instead:
Accept – accept what you are thinking and feeling.
Name – name and label the thoughts. You are not the feelings, but you are experiencing them.
State New Intention – decide what you want to think and feel and express the new thoughts in your mind by writing them down or saying them outloud.
Change Behavior – once you restate your experience, you can act on the new information. Nothing is real until you take action.
