If you cannot understand the pain of another, it is easy to cause injury.
Work to understand. Understand the source. Understand the result.
Once understanding is in place, it is easier to do right.

When pushing weights, or carrying irrigation pipe, it is so much easier to let go.
When it comes to desires, emotions, and pride it is the exact opposite. It is so much harder to let go.
Letting go is easy when it is physical.
Letting go is almost impossible at first when it is emotional.
Knowing when to let go and when to hold on doesn’t always depend on us and our feelings. Often, it is based on the circumstances around us and the actions of others.
When it is tangible and heavy, holding on is hard.
When it is inside of us and untouchable, that is when holding on is the easy way out.
Usually, when we don’t want to let go, that is when we know we need to. Letting go is when the pain truly becomes real.
Passion is when you are enriched.
Purpose is when your passion enriches others.
The shadows of life are tools we can use. Shadows are proof that light exists. The darkness can show us exactly where the light is. Embrace the shadows in order to find the light and then face the light.
Freedom is how we create and become.
Freedom is the path to fulfillment.
Freedom from the expectations of others.
Freedom from negative thought.
Freedom from the slavery of social norms.
Freedom from owing debts to others.
Freedom is the power of agency in action.
Emotions are contagious.
Negativity is an emotion most often shown in the form of complaining.
Stop complaining and your positive emotions will increase.
As we criticize others, we are also criticizing ourselves. When we noticed the bad in others, our own bad is shown. The best way to find the positive is to look for it, to say it, and to share it. When we share bad, we find it, everywhere. We cannot look for the bad in others and find the good in ourselves. Bad leads to bad. Good leads to good. Our inside journey is created by our outside actions – and our outside journey is formed by our inside thoughts, emotions, and beliefs.
Making others unhappy will never make you happy.
The opposite is more than true as well, the more we help others find happiness the more happiness we will feel.
The only way we can ever hear our own minds is if we let go of what we expect others want from us. This is not about what others need from us, or our responsibilities, but about wants and expectations. Letting go of outside expectations allows us to embrace who we really are, in order to know who we really are though we first have to listen to what our mind and heart are saying to us.
Charity is selfless love for the benefit of another.
