A year of doing is worth more than a lifetime of talking.

People with experience are better equipped to solve problems than people who study experiences. 

Even when your heart is in the right place, you need check to make sure what you think is right is actually right for the other person. Often the definition is not the same and this leads to missed expectations and misunderstandings. 

Initiative beats expertise if expertise decides to wait… 

Influence beats power if power becomes selfish…

Inspiration beats motivation if motivation gets tired… 

Each day becomes better if you allow others to say sorry, yet if you don’t even understand the need for them to say sorry, you are already having a great day. 

 

If you don’t have the needed experience, use curiosity. 

If you don’t have the needed time, use logic. 

If you don’t have either, use compassion. 

No matter what we think, feel, or say…

time is precious and should be valued.

We can create food, money, and things, and we spend it wrong and hoard them. 

 We can’t create time, yet we waste it. 

Value is only defined by the one who experiences it. 

Value comes in unlimited forms and can be expressed and felt in endless ways. 

Choosing how we define, find, and accept value often determines our level of contentment and peace. 

If we stress,

stress over what we want, 

it is hard,

almost too hard,

to be grateful for what,

we have. 

Working hard is not a badge of honor. 

Getting the hard work done is. 

It is easy to find fault, to be negative, and to look for the bad. 

The easy road is almost never the right one.
